Communicating information is one of the most important things in our contemporary society, since it helps to ourselves to be aware of what is happening around and that could affect us. In this case, it is remarkable the role of television, radio and books, popular in all the globe.
While the radio and books cover very well the news in their own ways, it is completely much better the television. First, there are no comparison in watching an image covering a terrorist attack, for example, rather than hearing it by a radio’s broadcast or reading it years later in a book. Second, the television is always upgrading its technology in terms of pixels’ quality, new cameras as installation or the thing of “drones” which can give us alternatively sights of a football game, for instance. Another argument is the access of many international channels by a cable distributor, which could give us the possibility to watch a new from our country if we were in a foreign country.
On the other hand, the television does not work without electricity in general terms. The other devices (radio and books are more independent in this area). Also, it is more expensive than the radio by I think 30 or 40 times in average and can be more, depending in the television’s technology. Furthermore, the availability to be in contact with more channels depends of how much an owner can spend and the existence of a cable distributor.
To sum up, the television has great advantages to get information from all the globe and is always improving its technology, nevertheless, it is still depending on electricity and user’s money capability.
